If you’re considering a career as a Speech Language Pathologist, the daunting task of applying to graduate programs will eventually come to mind. I wanted to share my spreadsheet of all the Master Schools for Speech Language Pathology in Canada. It’s always good to have an early idea so you know what pre-requisites you will need to fulfill and what to focus on.

I made the spreadsheet mainly so I can see everything in a fairly organized fashion. There are a total of seven English-speaking SLP master programs in Canada. Even after learning French throughout high school, je ne suis pas bon in French so I did not include the French speaking programs (Université de Montréal and Université de Québec à Trois-Rivières). I do like poutine if that counts for anything.

Every school has its pros and cons so check out which school suits you the best! You many need to think about what factors are most important to you. Do you meet the basic requirements to apply to the program? If you plan ahead, you might not have to get stuck taking a first year anatomy course in your third or fourth year of university.

As a caveat, it’s always good to double check on the official school website for the most up-to-date information. Feel free to download the spreadsheet and modify it to your heart’s desire since the information is subject to change. You can also use it as a guide to make your own spreadsheet!

Here are the schools that I include and factors that I consider:
